The Aerzener Maschinenfabrik is founded by the banker and graduated businessman Adolph Meyer



1867

 

Establishment of the iron foundry



1868

 

Manufacture of the first European positive displacement blower. Aerzener Maschinenfabrik has therefore more than 130 years of experience in manufacturing twin-shaft positive displacement machines.



1887

 

The fabrication program includes Positive Displacement blowers, steam locomobiles, threshing machines, fodder chopping machines, hay makers, circular saws and portable forges



1894

 

The production of agricultural machines is stopped, the production of blowers increases. Supply of cupola melting furnaces, foundry machines, complete forging devices and brewery machines.



1897

 

The 5,000th blower is produced



1907

 

Conversion of Aerzener Maschinenfabrik into an exempt private company

The world’s largest positive displacement blower (conveying volume 84.000 m³/h) built for steel production.150 blowers of this type have been manufactured and are used worldwide

The world’s largest screw compressor (conveying volume 65.000 m³/h) built for and supplied to the chemical industry



1987

 

Aerzen develops positive displacement blowers with internal pulsation dampening. This milestone in the design of blowers was patented to Aerzener Maschinenfabrik GmbH

Blower no. 250,000 ready for delivery



1990

 

Certification acc. to DIN ISO 9001 Aerzen is one of the first machinebuilding companies due to the quality orientation certificated acc. to DIN ISO 9001

Serial production of the new blower unit DELTA BLOWER starts

New screw compressor series DELTA SCREW presented to the market

1997 VARISCREW, the new generation of compressors for refrigeration is developed and produced

Presentation of the world novelty VARISCREW+ - the first semihermetic refrigerating compressor even for ammonia applications
