Aerzen Machines Limited, the Essex based subsidiary of German Blower and Compressor manufacturer Aerzener Maschinenfabrik GmbH, have been providing solutions to suit the rigorous standards and requirements of the UK and Irish markets since 1959.
Aerzener produce package solutions for compressed air, pneumatic conveying, water aeration and other industrial applications where oil free, high flows and low pressures are reliably required. Currently the group manufacture over 15,000 Blowers and 12,000 compressors, as well as Vacuum Pumps and Gas Meters which are sold worldwide and have been in production since 1868. As a mark of their development, a €50 million investment into new production facilities is underway which will see production capacity increase greatly. All oil free blowers and compressors are PED certified and can be delivered with ATEX certification.
In the UK and Ireland, it is often seen that greater requirements exist for increased safety guarding, higher specification motors fitted with anti-condensation heaters and thermistors, insulated bearings for large motors being invertor driven, vibration monitoring capabilities, special paint finishes, lower sound level insulations and other features which do not appear as standard on many European manufacturers assemblies. Aerzen Machines Limited have over many years built up the ability to meet these additional requirements, taking the standard package unit and tailoring it to suit customers bespoke needs at their factory in the UK.
With a product that has been in industry so long, many enquiries are received to replace older designs of Blower assemblies no longer in production. It is also seen that customers want to fit Aerzen Bare Shaft units onto assemblies made by other manufacturers. Aerzen’s in house fabrication department allows such requirements to be met.
An experienced team of mechanical fitters allows UK and Irish specification motors to be mounted onto the European assemblies, along with the manufacture and installation of additional guarding and provision of special paint finishes, thicknesses and colours. Special filter assemblies can be provided to suit individual applications.
The new Aerzen Generation 5 acoustic enclosure delivers industry leading low sound levels, typically below 75 dB(A). Yet many customers require lower sound levels for special applications and Aerzen Machines have the ability to deliver units to 50 dB(A) and below if required.
Aerzen Machines, like all Aerzen companies worldwide, are trained and highly experienced in the repair and maintenance of Aerzen machines. A 24/7 support service is available, with a large stock of service exchange machines available for immediate delivery.
As of December 2006, Aerzen Machines are also the UK depot for Aerzen International Rental – offering ISO-frame containerised Blowers and Compressors complete with invertors for ‘plug and play’ emergency coverage. Becoming a depot, again with 24/7 coverage means that customers can benefit from very quick temporary replacement air supply when their installed units fail unexpectedly. Units can be supplied with generators and can be HIAB delivered for ease of installation.
