DELTA TWIN - Alternative made by Aerzen for economically oil-free compressed air!

DELTA TWIN represents new two-stage compressed-air units. Following development, these machines can now realize motor sizes from 75 to 200 kW and differential pressures up to 10 bar. The dry-working screw compressor units are available as water and air-cooled designs and cover currently with three sizes, volume flows from 760 m³/h to 2.450 m³/h.

Series DELTA TWIN is designed for the conveyance of air and neutral gases. It is especially suitable in industrial compressed-air production, in spray-coating plants, in the foodstuff industry or in chemical plants and also as control air for pneumatic control systems used in many other branches.

Special emphasis has been put on efficiency at the 'heart' of the units - the screw compressor - to cater for users' requirements for economical compressed air production. Thanks to modifications in the construction of the rotors and the housings a considerable efficiency increase of the compressors has been achieved in comparison with similar machines of competitors. An increase of air conveyance dependent on motor size of up to 9% leads to an optimum efficiency of motor performance and an economical compressed-air production.

Another special feature of Aerzen series DELTA TWIN is the patented drive via V-belts. The V-belt drive ensures good performance and speed adjustment as well as lower investment costs compared with directly driven compressor units. In addition, maintenance work such as manual regulation of tension of the V-belts can be avoided thanks to Aerzen's unique design. On the compressed-air unit the motor is provided with a hinged mounting plate ensuring an optimum belt tension due to the motor's own weight. Even after longer operation periods a manual regulation of tension is no longer necessary.

Additional advantages of this innovative series DELTA TWIN are the compact and space-saving construction as well as several modification possibilities of special materials for heat exchangers and pipings, also special instrumentations, tests and standards for individual customer solutions. Service work on compressors is possible at site, therefore maintenance time and costs are considerably reduced.
