Aerzener Maschinenfabrik presents new gas meter series
The Aerzener Maschinenfabrik GmbH has manufactured and developed rotary piston gas meters since 1930.
The previous Aerzen series has 13 sizes for measurement of all non-aggressive gases with a volume flow from 0,65 m³/h up to 6.500 m³/h and therefore presents the worldwide largest rotary piston gas meter series. The exclusively produced spherical cast meters are specially used in local electric supply companies but also due to their robustness in the chemical technology and the automobile industry.
In close cooperation with plant manufacturers and operators now an innovative meter series has been developed which fulfills the increasing requirements in the gas market today. The new sizes G 40 up to G 400 measure volume flows from 0,4 m³/h up to 650 m³/h and distinguish themselves especially by an extended measuring range of 1:160 - also in case of additional mounting of a mechanical output - and a high temperature resistance up to 5 bar. Beside smaller dimensions even partly with installation dimensions of 3 x DN, the new Aerzen meters guarantee also a lower weight compared with the conventional models.
An essential feature for the user is also reduced maintenance as the intervals for necessary oil changes with pure gases have increased to 16 years. Moreover with a new electronic compact volume converter long-distance data transmission can be realized. The special advantage of the new Aerzen Gas Meter Series however is the excellent price performance ratio as the prices could considerably be reduced due to cost reductions in production compared with the older models.
